Overview
Our products are designed for the micro mobility industry (e.g. electric scooters) and light industrial & utilitarian equipment (e.g. the turf industry, golf carts, military robots, etc).
The process involves injecting pre-mixed Aerofill compound into pneumatic tyres, where it expands and cures inside the tyre, replacing all the air with a lightweight, resilient material that provides a smooth, compliant ride.
We have developed a range of Aerofill formulations to meet various applications and load requirements.
Advantages of Aerofill flatproofing
- Aerofill is lighter than traditional flatproofing by up to 75% (depending on application)
- Tyres filled with Aerofill cannot go flat. Our motto is "Fit and Forget"
- Maintenance-free peace of mind - no repairs or air pressure checks are required
- Aerofill provides a more compliant ride than traditionally flatproofed tyres, due to its ability to more easily compress under load
The process begins by choosing the relevant Aerofill compound formulation and fill quantity that will provide the equivalent load deflection characteristics of the pneumatic version of the tyre.
We use our specially developed test rig to to take the measurements, and draw comparative Load vs Deflection graphs of the pneumatic and airless versions of the tyre.
Using this method we are able to accurately determine processing specifications to meet our customers' requirements.

We use two different types of equipment for tyre filling, depending on required production volumes. The single shot machine is used for small production quantities, while the continuous flow PU dispenser machine is more suitable for larger production runs.
The single shot machine is also well-suited for loan to local customers who wish to flatproof their tyres themselves, using Aerofill materials supplied by ATT. We would be happy to discuss any requirements you may have towards flatproofing your tyres in-house.
